• Caption Contest

  Alright, I'm pretty sure you all know what a caption contest is. You see a picture, you come up with an appropriate (usually funny) caption to go along with it. Then we all vote on the captions. The person who wins gets.... a handmade chainmail creation of their choice! This piece will be courtesy of my talents so we'll arrange the details of your prize after the contest is over.

  So, you've all got 'till Wednesday, March 29th to come up with captions. If you don't have an LJ account, give some method of identification in your comment so voting doesn't get confusing. From March 30th to April 1st will be voting. The winner will be declared on either the 1st or the 2nd, depending on when I can get on the computer. (And yes, I know you may think this is some kind of April fools joke seeing as the contest ends on the 1st - it's not a joke. I'm serious, you win, you get a chainmail piece.)

  This contest is open to anyone and everyone. You don't have to be on my friends list for LJ, or even know me. If you see this picture and feel inspired, have at it. All I ask is that you use my LJ account to post your caption in the comments section.

  Now, without further ado, the picture! (And my caption. I'm not in the competion, but I think my caption's pretty funny so I thought I'd share.) Oh, also, the picture is courtesy of my roommate Peter Gudmunson who is currently visiting his brother in Phoenix. The cat's his brothers', her name is Jinx.
